About the Breed

Oriental Shorthair cats are known for their striking appearance and outgoing personalities. They share many traits with Siamese cats, including their almond-shaped eyes and vocal nature. They are intelligent, curious, and highly social cats that enjoy interacting with their human family members. Like Siamese cats, Orientals are not shy about expressing their opinions and can be quite chatty.

They are known for their energy and playfulness and can be quite athletic, enjoying jumping, climbing, and interactive play. Orientals form strong bonds with their owners and thrive on attention and affection. They tend to get along well with children and other pets if properly introduced.

Some of the common diseases and Homeopathic Solution:

Dental Problem:

As with many cat breeds, Oriental Shorthairs can be susceptible to dental issues if their dental hygiene is not adequately maintained.

Suggested Solution: Me and My Orals is useful in the case of pets suffering from soft bleeding gums, pus draining gums, foul breath, gum boils, toothache, gums sensitive to cold, abscess at the root of teeth, and other related symptoms.

Respiratory Issues:

Due to their brachycephalic (short-nosed) facial structure, some Oriental Shorthairs may be more prone to respiratory problems, such as upper respiratory infections.

Suggested solution:  Wheezgo drops and Me and My Cough and Cold granules to treat Cough & Flu-related symptoms such as cough, cold, headache, sneezing with a running nose, inflammation of the mucous membrane, pain in the chest, and bronchitis with or without rattling sound.

Periodontal Disease:

This is a common dental issue in cats that can lead to gum and tooth problems if not properly cared for.

Suggested Solution: Me and My Orals is useful in the case of pets suffering from soft bleeding gums, pus draining gums, foul breath, gum boils, toothache, gums sensitive to cold, abscess at the root of teeth, and other related symptoms and Inflasule drops for inflammation associated sensitivity.
