Coriandrum sativum @ 500mg/kg BW, exhibited maximum percent faecal egg count reduction was 40.38±0.14 on day 28 post-treatment. After the treatment with aqueous extracts of Coriandrum sativum there were improve in the altered haemato-biochemical parameters in naturally strongyles infected goats. Goats treated with aqueous extracts of seeds of Coriandrum sativum did not exhibit any adverse effects.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the ameliorative potential of an alternative remedy in down regulating urinary cellular biomarkers in canines with lower urinary tract infections. Out of 150 dogs screened, 30 (18 females, 12 males) of more or less similar age were selected based on inclusion criteria and underwent detailed clinical investigation to established clinical biomarkers. Laboratory analysis included aseptic collection of 5 ml of blood from the cephalic vein and 20 ml of urine via ultrasound-guided cystocentesis. On day 0, urine samples were analyzed for cellular biomarkers using direct microscopy and Gram staining bacterial isolation and identification, biochemical markers via urine dipstick autoanalyzer, and specific renal markers Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin

(NGAL).Imaging markers were also assessed by measuring urinary bladder wall thickness. After 7 days of treatment with CystigoTM (10 drops thrice daily, showed slight down regulation of biomarkers. After 14 days, all the biomarkers were found significantly normalized (<0.05). The results indicated that the homeopathic approach is one of the most effective altematives for treating lower urinary tract infections in canine, without any adverse effects.

UNVEILING THE DIAGNOSTIC SIGNIFICANCE OF URINARY PRECIPITATE IN CANINE RENAL DYSFUNCTION Nisha Chaudhary, Alok Kr Chaudahry, Mukesh Kr Srivastava, Ruchi Tiwari, Ashish Shrivastva, Sonika Verma, Shubhangi Choudhary and Aman Kr Singh DUVASU, Mathura

This presentation aims to unveil the diagnostic significance of urinary precipitate in identifying renal dysfunction in dogs. Renal dysfunction is a prevalent condition in canines that often goes undiagnosed until advanced stages. Urinary analysis, particularly the examination of urinary precipitate, can provide valuable insights into renal health. By analyzing the types and quantities of precipitates, we can gain critical information regarding the underlying pathologies affecting the kidneys. This study highlights the correlation between urinary precipitate characteristics and various forms of renal dysfunction, emphasizing the importance of incorporating urinary precipitate analysis into routine diagnostic protocols for enhanced detection and management of renal diseases in dogs.
