Title: Effect of homeopathic-biochemic medicine in the prevention and treatment of foot and mouth disease in cattle.

Abstract:

The use of the homeopathic-biochemical drug, Foomasul No.1 and 2, in the prevention and treatment of foot and mouth disease was studied in cattle. A total of 137 cattle with FMD were treated with Foomasul No.1 and 2 administered at one packet each animal per day for 3-5 days. No FMD infection and outbreak was recorded in the treated animals during the course of the study and the successive year. Recovery was observed as the animals started eating normally within 10-15 days from the beginning of treatment. The milk production of the herd also returned to the normal level within 20-25 days of treatment.
